Yields: Approximately 12 bliss balls
Prep time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pitted dates (Medjool dates work best)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup raw almonds
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter (or other nut butter)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 30 grams CollagenX Bovine Collagen Peptide Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt flakes

    For the Caramel Drizzle:
  • 2 tablespoons pitted dates, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened dairy or any milk of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon melted coconut oil

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, combine dates, oats, almonds, coconut, almond butter, honey, and CollagenX Bovine Collagen Peptide Powder. Process until a sticky dough forms.
  2. If the mixture feels too dry, add a tablespoon of water at a time until it comes together.
  3. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls.
  4. To make the caramel drizzle, blend together chopped dates, almond milk, and melted coconut oil until smooth.
  5. Drizzle the caramel over the bliss balls and sprinkle with sea salt flakes.

Tips:

  • For a richer flavor, use toasted almonds or coconut.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can finely chop the dates and almonds by hand and mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  • You can substitute other nut butters like cashew or peanut butter.
  • Store bliss balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
